I cringe at professionals that land up at my house in random clothes. Good companies always make their pros wear professional attire which is mostly a combination of recommended clothing for a particular job and branded clothing. The latter gives me an assurance that the company is well-established, and also it reduces the chances of some random person getting access to my house.

I also expect written estimate and that the corporation provides necessary documents to prove their legibility. The way their employees conduct themselves also matters a lot.

4. Good companies are punctual
I hate it when the companies say they’ll call me at this time and never call or call on some odd time. I expect you to call when you told me you would and I am going to judge how professional and good you’re at work based on your call timings.

The same is with visiting my home for work. I certainly don’t expect a company to land at my doorstep at some random time. Worst case happens when I am not at home during that period. If you get late, you’ll certainly delay my work which isn’t acceptable to anyone I assume.

5. Proper cleanup
Tile and grout cleaning leave its kind of mess and mostly, it’s the job of the companies to remove the clutter. I expect them to do that.
